The purpose of the Telecommunications Committee is to provide advice and assistance to the Town Council and Town Manger concerning telecommunication developments and issues that affect the Town and its citizens.
The primary focus should be in two areas: external developments that might directly affect the Town Government and/or our citizens; and internal policies and plans that may enable the Town staff to operate more efficiently and enhance services to our citizens.
Scope of Work
Research, evaluation and report to the Town Council on the implementation of broadband TV and internet service.
Research, evaluate and make recommendations to the Town Council regarding new technologies and issues related to telecommunications policy.
