Of the four Council seats open in the Town’s 2022 election cycle, only Council members Hardiman and Killmer filed to return as candidates. Council members Frye and Denault chose not to file as candidates in this year’s election.

During the open filing period for candidates, Bethany residents Ron Calef and Mickey Hinman filed to be considered as candidates. The filing period for candidates has closed and with the Calef and Hinman filings, the four person candidate slate for 2022 is full. 

Rosemary Hardiman, Lew Killmer, will be joined by new Council members Ron Calef and Mickey Hinman in September, as the four begin their 2 year terms on the Bethany Beach Town Council.
