It was announced that the Bethany Beach Annual Town Council Election would be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008, between the hours of 12 Noon and 6:00 p.m. in the Town Meeting Room. Anyone interested in filing as a candidate for the election must do so no later then 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2008. Council approved an Amendment to the Town's Subdivision Ordinance regarding dead-end streets and cul-de-sacs.

Council approved an Amendment to the Town's Zoning Code regarding Non-Conforming Uses, Structures and Lots.

A new Official Zoning Map of the Town was adopted.

Mr. Charles McMullen and Mr. Harvey Leighty were appointed to serve as Town Alderman.

It was agreed to send a letter describing how to vote to all eligible voters.
