The Bethany Beach Fire Company is a totally volunteer organization and is not under the administration of the Town of Bethany Beach.
It consists of over 60 members and a Ladies Auxiliary of over 20 members.

Location
The volunteer fire company is located at Station 70, with a substation at Fenwick Island. The main station is located at the corner of State Route 1 and Hollywood Street in Bethany Beach.
Fire District
Our fire district boundaries are from Indian River Bridge (south side) along the Atlantic Ocean, south to Maryland state line, west to Fenwick Island Bridge, and north to South Shore Marina at the Indian River Bridge.
